На южном берегу строился скрытый от глаз противника причал, к которому должны были подходить корабли с Большой земли. В общем, мы готовились держать оборону острова всерьез и надолго. И красноармейцам, эвакуированным к нам из-под Койвисто, пришлось взять на себя значительную тяжесть этой работы. Происходило так не потому, что мы жалели "своих" бойцов и оберегали их от тяжелых земляных работ. Нет, и им приходилось трудиться с лопатой в руках, когда была возможность
